Support Locked Out Meatworkers: Public Meeting

A public meeting is being called to organise solidarity and support for the locked out meatworkers. There are still over 800 workers locked out and everyday they stay strong requires more than just a physical presence outside their work sites. We need thousands of dollars to help feed their families and keep roofs over their heads.
But more than that, we need to do everything we can do to help them WIN.

One Response to Support locked out meatworkers (Wellington event tomorrow)

  1. Don Franks says:

Unite organisers, WP and other left political activists together with Brass Razoo Solidarity band collected $1500 in Manners and $460 at Newtown today, just over $2000 all up.

A sign that there is some class solidarity out there.

Big ups to the older Wellington lefties who got up and answered the call yet again.

Without your loyalty the union movement would be stuffed.
